Call for Poster Abstracts
Michigan State University's Environmental Science and Policy Program is inviting all students (high school, undergraduate and graduate) to participate in a poster session at its premier annual event, the Fate of the Earth Symposium. This multi-day event brings together interdisciplinary researchers, communicators, stakeholders and academics to discuss the most pressing environmental problems we face as a global society.
The poster display will be judged at the Fate of the Earth Public Symposium Wednesday April 11, 2017. Those submitting posters are required to attend the judging session from 12:30 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. Wednesday April 12, 2017. If you are unable to be present during judging and would still like to be considered for a prize, please let us know as soon as possible.
The theme for this year's meeting is: Climate-Food-Energy-Water Nexus. Posters may reflect this theme but posters on any aspect of environmental science and policy, sustainability and the fate of the Earth are welcome. Organizations that would like to share their activities are also welcome to submit posters but will not be eligible for prizes.
Posters are eligible for a cash prize. To enter the competition, please submit an abstract of not more than 250 words explaining your research and how it aligns with the Fate of the Earth theme of "challenges and opportunities we face in enhancing human well-being while protecting the environment," on this website. SUBMISSION DEADLINE IS MARCH 31, 2017.
