Deadline for Abstract Submissions: EXTENDED TO MARCH 9 2018
The Environmental Science and Policy Program (ESPP) at Michigan State University invites students to participate in a poster session at its premier annual event, the Fate of the Earth Symposium, held on March 24, 2018, at the Kellogg Hotel and Conference Center. This year, the symposium is focused on bringing together members of the public with distinguished environmental thinkers. Together, we will explore environmental issues and solutions from a wide range of perspectives, including science, technology, humanities, and policy.
Guidelines for Submissions:
We encourage students from all disciplines (natural sciences, social sciences, and humanities) and levels (graduate, undergraduate, and K–12) to submit posters to the session. Posters must be related to environmental science and policy, and they must include a section explaining why their content is significant to members of the public.
The deadline for submissions has been extended to March 9, 2018. Authors of accepted posters will be notified by March 3rd.
A committee of ESPP graduate students and faculty members will judge the posters during the symposium and award a range of prizes. Students submitting posters are required to attend a judging session during the symposium from 12:30 pm - 1:30 p.m.. The committee will announce the prizes during a reception at 4:30 p.m.. If you are unable to attend the judging session but would like your poster to be considered for a prize, please email us as soon as possible.
Please provide us with the following information, if you would like to include a poster at this important event. Fields that appear RED ARE REQUIRED.
